Herefordshire Wildlife Trust Church Wood Winter Bioblitz

Join Herefordshire Wildlife Trust for a winter Bioblitz at Church Wood, where participants help survey and record as many species as possible across the site. The day is led by nature reserves officer Rosie Wilson and nature recovery officer Toby Fountain, and is designed to capture wildlife records from a broad range of groups including plants, fungi, insects and birds.

The event is open to anyone, with no previous knowledge, skills or experience needed, making it a welcoming way to get involved in wildlife recording. Participants should come prepared for a day outdoors, bring their own drinks, snacks and lunch, and wear sturdy shoes and weather-appropriate clothing.

The site is unsuitable for those with limited mobility, and anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or carer.
