Herefordshire Wildlife Trust Fascinating Fungi Workshop

Join The Herefordshire Fungus Survey Group for an in-depth day focused on fungi. The workshop combines presentations, forays and practical fungi identification, giving participants the chance to learn more about the diversity of local species and how experts go about recognising them in the field.

During the day, you can ask questions of the experts, improve your identification skills and deepen your understanding of the wonderful world of fungi. The event is designed as a hands-on nature workshop rather than a classroom-only session, so it includes both indoor learning and time outdoors.

Participants should bring a basket or box for collecting specimens and wear suitable footwear and clothing for an outdoor walk. Lunch is not provided, so you should bring your own or use the on-site café.

Free parking is available for the day when you register your car at the Visitor Centre & Gift Shop, and the meeting point is The Jubilee Building beside the main car park.
