Serve customers, process donated stock and run the till in a charity shop, supporting local fundraising and helping people understand the Trust’s work. No experience is needed, and shifts are around 3.5 hours a week.

This volunteering role supports Herefordshire Wildlife Trust’s Ledbury Charity Shop. Volunteers help with the day-to-day running of the shop, providing a welcoming customer service experience and supporting the Trust’s fundraising work in the local community.

Typical tasks include serving customers, thanking people for donations, processing donated stock, steaming and pricing items, operating the till, handling cash and card payments, restocking displays, visual merchandising, and helping to keep the shop tidy and well maintained. Volunteers also help promote public understanding of the Trust’s work.

The role suits friendly, enthusiastic people with good communication skills, confidence with customers and till work, and a reliable, punctual approach. No previous experience is needed. Shifts are around 3.5 hours a week, ideally in a regular slot, and volunteers can help on any day.
