Welcome visitors to a country park’s centre and shop, share information, sell items and keep displays looking good. Choose half-day or full-day shifts, get full training, and help with practical tasks such as playground safety checks, weeding and cleaning mobility vehicles.
Volunteer at the Visitor Centre and Shop at Queenswood Country Park and Arboretum, helping to welcome visitors and support Herefordshire Wildlife Trust’s work. The role includes merchandising, selling items, and providing members of the public with information about the Country Park in a friendly, front-of-house setting.
Shifts are available as half days or full days, with flexible hours to help fit around different schedules. The opportunity is suitable for people who are confident speaking to the public and enjoy a varied role where no previous experience is needed. Full training is provided.
Volunteers can also get involved in outdoor tasks around the visitor centre, such as litter picking, health and safety playground checks, emptying bins, sweeping, weeding the paving, and cleaning mobility vehicles. It is a practical role that supports wildlife conservation and helps improve the visitor experience at Queenswood.
Sessions run weekly
