CLOSED THIS CYCLE

STEM Club: Summer Edition is a hands-on programme of STEM workshops for young people aged 11-16. Delivered by Higher Ground in collaboration with Muslims in Rail, the sessions are led by professionals working across the rail industry and are designed to build curiosity, teamwork and problem-solving through practical challenges.

Each workshop is a standalone experience, so participants can book one session, several sessions or the full series depending on what suits them best. Across the programme, young people will take part in activities such as bridge building, design and racing challenges, construction tasks and creative invention projects.

The workshops are held in person at Higher Ground in Luton and are aimed at creating a fun, supportive environment where young people can experiment, collaborate and learn by doing. No previous STEM experience is needed, and places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, so advance booking is essential.
