The Historical Association: The Commonwealth War Graves Commission

This online branch lecture explores the work and significance of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. It is organised by the Historical Association’s Northampton Branch, in association with the Leicester Branch, and delivered by Andrew Beckett of the CWGC.

The event is part of the Historical Association’s regional branch programme and is designed for anyone interested in history, remembrance, commemoration and the practical work involved in caring for war graves and memorials. It offers an opportunity to hear directly from a speaker with professional knowledge of the subject and to learn more about the Commission’s role and legacy.
