Historical Association: A Postcard from Manchester

Geoff Senior presents a brief illustrated tour of Manchester, taking in some of the city’s best-known streets and locations by electric tram. The talk draws on a selection of early twentieth-century images from the archives of the Heaton Park Tramway, offering a visual glimpse of the city’s history and transport heritage.

This is a branch event organised by The Historical Association and led by lecturer Geoff Senior. It takes place at The Friends Meeting House in Manchester and is suitable for anyone with an interest in local history, urban heritage, or historic transport.

The event is a focused historical talk rather than a course, with a specific place-based theme and archival material at its centre.
