Deadline in 73 days

The HGSS Visual Arts Scholarship is offered by Holmer Green Senior School to recognise students who are gifted and talented in Art & Design. The school is offering three scholarships to talented students who wish to join HGSS Sixth Form and who intend to pursue a creative career.

Applicants should be planning to study at least one Art & Design endorsement at A level.

Each scholarship provides funding to cover materials and equipment for qualifying courses, a dedicated teaching mentor providing one-to-one support, and assistance in securing a work experience placement linked to a practising artist or company. Eligible A Level endorsements listed include A Level Art & Design, A Level Art Textiles, A Level Graphic Communication (by request), and Art & Design: 3D Design (by request).

To apply, students must first apply to HGSS Sixth Form via the usual school application procedure and additionally submit a letter of application and a portfolio of 10 pages showcasing their best work. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to an interview with a panel to present and discuss their portfolio.

Applications close on Friday 13 March 2026.
