Join Bush Monkey Garden Services as a Horticulture/Landscape Construction Operative apprentice to gain hands-on experience maintaining private gardens and commercial outdoor spaces. You will work as part of a small team doing tasks such as mowing, using tools, weeding, planting, and constructing or repairing landscape features.
Typical working hours are 8:00am to around 4:00pm, 40 hours per week, with exact finish times varying by job and weather.
The apprenticeship starts on Monday 6 April 2026 and runs for approximately 1 year 3 months. Training is delivered on- and off-the-job, with weekly attendance at Duchy College Rosewarne (normally on Mondays) and Cornwall College named as the training provider.
Mandatory elements include a Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work and pesticide handling qualifications (PA1/PA6 or equivalent). On completion there may be progression opportunities to a Level 3 Horticulture Supervisor apprenticeship.
