Help run a new hospice café by serving customers, preparing light snacks and drinks, operating the till and keeping the space welcoming. No experience is needed, and full training includes an online food safety course.
The Hospice of St Francis is looking for warm, friendly volunteers to help run its new café at the Spring Garden Lane site. The role is designed to create a welcoming space for visitors, patients and staff while supporting the day-to-day running of the café.
Volunteers may serve customers, prepare light snacks and drinks, operate the till, and help keep the café clean, organised and inviting. No previous experience is needed, and the hospice says it is looking for people with a positive attitude, reliability and a willingness to learn and support others.
Full training will be provided, including an online food safety course. Saturday shifts are available from October, making this a flexible volunteering opportunity for people who would like to support their local hospice in a practical, customer-facing role.
