Urenco is recruiting an HSE Apprentice (Health and Safety) based at its Capenhurst site in Cheshire. In this permanent apprenticeship you will be supported to develop competence across occupational health and safety, health and wellbeing, and resilience/business continuity and emergency planning, contributing to the safe and compliant conduct of operations on site.

You will work towards and complete an HSE Apprenticeship following a defined scheme of work, gaining HSE-relevant qualifications and practical experience. Day-to-day activities include supporting investigations, audits and inspections, contributing to process development for legislative and policy compliance, identifying learning opportunities and helping implement improvements, and providing advice and positive HSE influence across the business.

The role is suitable for post-GCSE applicants: the employer asks for a minimum of five GCSEs at grade 4 or above and commitment to obtain a NEBOSH General Certificate. £26,309 per year

Pay & Benefits

£26,309 per annum.
