The Human Resources Apprentice role at St. James's Place is a 12-month apprenticeship programme (listed as 1 year 6 months on the vacancy) that provides an introduction to core HR functions. You'll rotate through Reward, Culture, Diversity & Engagement, HR Administration and Employee Relations, gaining hands-on experience in HR administration, recruitment and onboarding, policy guidance and employee relations.
This is a permanent vacancy with a 35 hour working week and hybrid working (required in the office 2-3 days each week).
Training is delivered in partnership with Cirencester College and leads to the HR Support (Level 3) apprenticeship qualification. The programme includes a combination of on-the-job learning and off-the-job study, coursework and in-person sessions at the training provider.
Key learning areas include service delivery, problem solving, communication, teamwork, process improvement and HR information management.
Essential entry requirements are GCSE English and Maths at grade 5 and A-levels (any subject) on track to complete or completed. There is one position available with a start date of Monday 14 September 2026.
