I-SITE is a five-week immersive summer program run by NYU Tandon that introduces students to interdisciplinary STEM topics drawn from Tandon courses and faculty research. Participants work through coursework, labs, hands-on activities, and workshops covering physical computing, robotics, computer science, machine learning (using tools such as PyTorch), scientific ethics, and presentation training.

The program emphasizes team-based problem solving and culminates in a team challenge where students prototype and present solutions to real-world societal issues such as climate change or cybersecurity. Instruction is delivered in a dynamic, college-like environment at NYU Tandon School of Engineering in Brooklyn, NY, with daily sessions Monday-Friday from 9 AM to 4 PM.

The program is tuition-based, open to U.S. and international students (international attendees will need a student visa). Housing and meal-plan options are available for an additional fee.
