Immerse Education's Cambridge Coding Summer School is a two-week, university-style residential and non-residential programme for students aged 16-18. Students learn core programming languages, computational thinking and software development through in-depth academic sessions, hands-on projects and a self-directed personal research project.
Small class sizes (7-10) provide intensive teaching by academic tutors (PhD-level) and 1:1 tutoring to develop technical skills and independent academic work. Residential participants stay in Cambridge University colleges (meals and accommodation included) and take part in cultural activities and excursions, while non-residential participants join the same teaching without accommodation.
The programme culminates in a graduation ceremony and a certificate recognising achievement. Multiple July-August 2026 sessions are available, and the course is designed to prepare students for further study in computer science or software engineering and to strengthen university applications.
