Immerse Education Computer Science Online Research Programme

Immerse Education’s Computer Science Online Research Programme is a year-round, pre-university online course for high-school and secondary students aged 13-18. Guided by a dedicated subject tutor, participants explore core computing concepts - from algorithms and data structures to real-world applications - and undertake an independent research project.

The programme offers one-to-one tutorials or group lessons, personalised feedback, and mentorship from academics and graduates from leading universities. Students design and complete an academic research project, developing skills in research methodology, academic writing, referencing, coding, and presentation.

Exceptional projects may be selected for the Immerse Online Symposium and Publication Research Programme students receive coaching to support submission to an international high-school research journal. Accredited course options can earn UCAS points and college credit where applicable.

Delivery is fully remote and flexible, available year-round. On completion participants receive a certificate of achievement and top performers may be awarded a personalised letter of recommendation from their tutor.
