Ready to level up your coding and problem‑solving? Explore pre‑university computer science at your pace: build programming skills, master core principles across tech and engineering, and boost your uni or career prospects — no heavy prior background needed.

Immerse Education’s Computer Science Online Courses are a pre-university, self-paced online option for students who want to explore the subject in greater depth. The course is designed for ages 13 to 18 and is described as suitable for high school participants who are interested in programming, mathematics and engineering, with no significant prior academic background required.

Participants study key principles of computer science and see how they are applied across sectors such as technology, research and industry. The course content covers fundamental programming concepts, algorithms, data structures, software engineering, web development, and the impact of computing on society.

It also aims to build problem-solving, research and critical-thinking skills through expert tutor support. An optional UCAS points add-on is available during the application process. Students who opt in can earn 8 UCAS points, which can strengthen a UK university application and provide additional evidence of academic engagement beyond the classroom.
