Immerse Education’s Computer Science Summer School in Oxford is a residential academic programme for students aged 13-15 who want an early taste of university-level study. The course introduces foundational ideas in computer science, including computational thinking, programming languages, Python, sorting algorithms and game strategy, with an emphasis on solving problems through code.

Students learn in small classes with expert tutors, combining in-depth academic sessions with a personal research project and 1-on-1 guidance. The programme is designed to build confidence and practical skills while helping younger students explore whether computer science could be a future area of study.

Participants live and learn in Oxford University colleges, gaining a genuine college-style experience in historic surroundings. The summer school also includes a certificate of achievement, and eligible students aged 14+ can opt in for UCAS points as part of their application.
