Immerse Education Creative Writing Summer School

Immerse Education’s Creative Writing summer school is designed for students aged 13-18 who want to develop their writing before university. The course explores narrative techniques, poetry, fiction, character development, voice, structure, and the process of turning ideas into polished creative work.

It is aimed at aspiring writers and students who want a stronger foundation in English-related study. Learners can study in person in Oxford or take part online from anywhere. The experience combines hands-on workshops, one-to-one tutoring, expert seminars, guided writing exercises, and feedback on individual projects.

Students are encouraged to experiment with different genres and styles while building confidence in their own authorial voice. At the end of the programme, participants receive a certificate of achievement.

There is also an optional UCAS points add-on for eligible students, offering a further way to strengthen university applications. No prior experience is required, and support is available throughout for students, including those learning English as an additional language.
