Curious about crime scenes and justice? Join Immerse Education’s Criminology Summer School in Cambridge to explore forensic science, criminal justice and criminological theory through fieldwork and hands-on projects. Build investigative, analytical and critical thinking skills, get expert feedback and boost your uni and career prospects.

Immerse Education’s Criminology Summer School gives students a structured introduction to criminological theories, criminal justice systems, and aspects of forensic science. Through interactive lectures, case studies, fieldwork and hands-on projects, students develop investigative, analytical and critical thinking skills relevant to careers in law, policing and forensic analysis.

Courses are led by experienced criminologists and include personalised feedback, expert seminars, group workshops and a personal research project. The programme is designed to mirror elements of university study and to help students strengthen their university applications and subject knowledge.

On completion, participants receive a Certificate of Achievement and may opt in to receive 8 UCAS points where eligible.

Practical details (dates, fees and session lengths) are provided on application; Immerse supports ESL learners through CLIL approaches and accommodates dietary requirements. Students are expected to travel to the programme city themselves, while local excursions and in-programme travel are organised by Immerse.
