Curious to build real projects in Tokyo this summer? Join Immerse Education’s two-week Engineering Programme to explore mechanical, civil and electronic engineering through hands-on projects and industry-led workshops. Develop practical skills, boost your UCAS/career profile and connect with peers and experts.

Immerse Education’s Engineering Summer Programme in Tokyo is a two-week, in-person summer school for students aged 15-18, introducing core engineering disciplines including mechanical, civil and electronic engineering. Through hands-on sessions and industry-led teaching, the programme aims to give participants practical skills, problem-solving experience and insight into engineering careers.

The course includes project-based learning (two-hour practical sessions), expert workshops, career-skills sessions (CVs, cover letters, employer research), weekly 1:1 coaching with an industry tutor, a personal project presented to industry experts, and industry visits. Class sizes are small (7-10 students) and a graduation ceremony and dinner mark the programme’s completion.

Participants stay in high-quality student accommodation near the University of Tokyo for residential options (13 nights) with daily meals provided. Multiple sessions are offered during summer with online enrolment via the Immerse website. A Certificate of Attendance is awarded on completion.
