Fancy exploring texts that shaped culture? Join Immerse Education’s English Literature Summer School in Cambridge to analyse classics and contemporary works, build academic writing, critical thinking and presentation skills, and work with experienced university tutors to boost your uni applications.

Immerse Education’s English Literature Summer School offers high-school students an intensive introduction to literary study, combining analysis of classic and contemporary texts with literary theory and critical practice. Students take part in seminars, writing workshops, and guided research projects under the supervision of experienced university tutors, developing academic writing, critical thinking, and presentation skills.

The programme is available as an in-person residential course in Cambridge and as online/remote options. In-person participants benefit from group workshops, 1-to-1 tutoring, expert seminars, day excursions, and personal research projects.

Completing the programme awards a Certificate of Achievement and offers an optional UCAS points add-on (8 UCAS points) for eligible students.

Practical support and safeguarding are emphasised: meals and on-site supervision are provided (with age-specific arrangements noted by Immerse), excursions’ travel is organised and included in fees, and host venues accommodate dietary requirements.
