Fancy creating films in Tokyo this summer? Join Immerse Education's Film & Animation Summer School to learn storytelling, 3D animation and production from industry pros, build portfolio-ready projects, and connect through workshops and one-to-one tutoring.

Immerse Education's Film & Animation Summer School is an in-person programme in Tokyo for aspiring creatives aged 15-18. The course offers hands-on training in storytelling, 3D animation techniques and film production, taught by industry professionals and experienced tutors.

Students work on personal projects, develop technical skills and build portfolios suitable for creative applications.

The programme emphasises real-world experience through group workshops, one-to-one tutoring, expert seminars, industry visits and collaborative projects that simulate a working environment. Participants undertake a personal research or production project and present their work for feedback, gaining practical knowledge of directing, cinematography, editing and animation processes.

Students who complete the programme receive a Certificate of Achievement and may opt in to earn UCAS points (available to students aged 14+). Meals and excursion arrangements are provided as stated on the site; travel to/from the programme city is the student's responsibility.

The programme also includes tailored support for ESL learners and accommodates dietary requirements.
