Curious about turning history into your next advantage? Join Immerse Education’s History Summer School-study big periods, master source analysis and historiography, complete a supervised research project, and build UCAS/uni-ready skills with expert tutors in Oxford, Cambridge or online.

Immerse Education's History Summer School offers university-style learning for secondary students, delivered both in person at UK college locations (Oxford and Cambridge) and via an online research programme. Participants study significant historical periods and themes, practise historiography and source analysis, and complete a supervised personal research project supported by experienced tutors.

The programme includes interactive seminars, group workshops, one-to-one tutoring, and day excursions (for in-person cohorts). Students receive personalised feedback on academic writing and research, and the in-person programmes provide supervised residential experiences with college-based pastoral support.

An optional UCAS points add-on (8 UCAS points) is available for eligible students aged 14 and above.

On completion participants receive a Certificate of Achievement. The course is designed to prepare students for higher education by developing critical thinking, academic writing, and independent research skills.

Applicants apply through Immerse Education's online application form and can request a prospectus or a complimentary consultation to find the best programme option.
