Work with a specialist history tutor on an independent research project, building your skills in evaluating sources, academic writing and argumentation. You’ll get personalised feedback and guidance, then complete the programme with a certificate of achievement.

Immerse Education’s History Online Research Programme is a pre-university online course for ambitious students aged 13-18. It brings together expert mentorship, historical analysis, and critical interpretation in a flexible format that can be accessed from anywhere in the world.

Participants work with a specialised subject tutor through in-depth academic sessions and personalised one-to-one or group lessons. The programme centres on a relevant independent research project, helping students build skills in source evaluation, academic writing, referencing, argumentation, and independent thinking.

Learners can also receive tailored feedback and guidance throughout the course.

Students complete the programme with a certificate of achievement, and accredited routes may include a recognised qualification. The course is designed to strengthen academic portfolios for university applications, and top-performing students may also receive a personal letter of recommendation.

It is available year-round and is intended to support future study in history and other essay-based subjects.
