Immerse Education Medicine Summer School London

Immerse Education’s Medicine Summer School London is a residential academic programme for students aged 15-18 who are considering medicine or want a stronger understanding of modern healthcare. Set in London, the course explores anatomy, diagnostics, medical ethics, clinical decision-making, and evidence-based thinking through a university-style learning experience.

Teaching combines expert-led academic sessions, supervision-style discussion, case-based learning, and hands-on workshops. Participants also complete a personal research project tailored to their interests and receive 1-on-1 tutoring, giving them the chance to deepen their understanding and develop skills useful for future study.

The programme is designed to feel like a genuine taste of university-level medicine before students apply. Students stay in central UCL accommodation, with meals and extracurricular activities included.

The course also offers a certificate of achievement, and an optional UCAS points add-on is available for eligible students. Running each summer, the programme is aimed at ambitious young people looking for an immersive introduction to the academic side of medicine.
