Immerse Education's Medicine Summer Programme in Oxford offers intensive, hands-on medical study designed for secondary-school students. The programme is split into two courses tailored to different age groups (13-15 and 16-18) and covers topics from human anatomy and basic healthcare to more advanced subjects such as neuroscience and epidemiology.
Teaching is delivered by academic tutors (often PhD-level) with personalised 1:1 support, small class sizes (7-10 students) and a supervised personal research project.
The residential experience places participants in Oxford University colleges (e. g. , St Edmund's Hall, Balliol, Oriel, Hertford), with full-board residential options, social activities, excursions (including day trips to Cambridge and optional London visits), and a formal graduation ceremony.
The standard programme length is two weeks with approximately 40 hours of teaching. Participants may opt in to earn UCAS points (available to students aged 14+). The programme also awards a certificate of achievement/attendance and offers opportunities for partial scholarships (e.
