Immerse Education's Medicine Summer Programme in Sydney is a two-week, on-campus summer school for 15-8-year-olds interested in human biology, clinical practice and public health. Based at St. Paul’s College, University of Sydney, the programme combines hands-on sessions, clinical simulations, and industry visits to local research hospitals and innovation centres.
Students engage in project-based learning, expert-led workshops, and case-based teaching to build diagnostic reasoning, communication, and observation skills. The course includes one-to-one coaching, a personal project with presentation to industry tutors, guest speaker sessions, and curated day excursions (e.
g. , Sydney Opera House, Australian Museum). Residential and non-residential options are available; residential participants receive university accommodation (13 nights) and daily meals.
The programme also offers an optional UCAS points add-on (8 points) where eligible, and culminates in a graduation ceremony and a certificate of attendance.
