Want to tackle physics like a uni student? Dive into Oxford-style tutorials, master classical mechanics, quantum basics and electromagnetism, and build problem-solving skills with expert tutors—boost your uni application and connect with peers who love physics.

Immerse Education’s Oxford Physics Summer School is a two-week, university-style programme for students aged 16-18 who want to explore physics in depth before applying to university. Based in Oxford, it gives participants a taste of collegiate study in a historic academic setting while introducing them to key ideas in classical mechanics, quantum theory, thermodynamics and electromagnetism.

Students learn through in-depth academic sessions, seminars, interactive problem-solving and tutor-led workshops. The course also includes a personal research project and 1-on-1 tutoring, giving each participant the chance to investigate a topic of interest and develop their thinking with expert guidance.

The programme is designed to strengthen conceptual understanding, scientific communication and rigorous problem-solving. Alongside academic study, participants live and learn in Oxford University colleges, with a residential experience that aims to mirror student life.

The course concludes with a certificate of achievement, and students can also opt in for UCAS points, adding an extra boost for future university applications.
