Want a taste of uni-level philosophy? Join Immerse Education’s Cambridge residential or online summer school to explore ethics, logic and metaphysics, lead a research project, debate with academics and get expert essay feedback, and build critical thinking skills to strengthen your uni application.

Immerse Education's Philosophy Summer School offers pre-university students an introduction to university-style study in philosophy. Participants explore ethics, logic, metaphysics and critical thinking through seminars, group discussion, and written work.

Courses are taught by experienced tutors and academics and include guided personal research projects, expert seminars, and feedback on essays.

The programme is available both in-person (Cambridge residential delivery, across college venues) and online (remote group or one-to-one options). In-person students take part in workshops, 1:1 tutoring, day excursions and supervised campus life; online students engage in live seminars, group discussions and a supervised research project.

Successful completion yields a Certificate of Achievement and students may opt in to receive 8 UCAS points where eligible.

No prior subject knowledge is required, and the course is marketed for motivated high-school students preparing for university. Applications are submitted via the Immerse website application form; a prospectus and free consultation are offered to help families select the right programme.
