Develop a personal philosophy research project through specialist tutoring, independent study and guided discussion. Examine ethical dilemmas and sharpen your academic writing, referencing, argumentation and analysis; on completion, you receive a certificate and accreditation.

Immerse Education’s Philosophy Online Research Programme is a pre-university course for ambitious students aged 13-18 who want to explore philosophical ideas in a more advanced, university-style setting. It brings together specialist tutoring, independent study, and guided discussion to help participants examine ethical dilemmas, philosophical theories, and critical thinking in depth.

Students work on a personal research project alongside one-to-one or group tutorials, building skills in academic writing, referencing, argumentation, and analysis. The programme is designed to stretch learners intellectually while also helping them communicate their ideas clearly and confidently.

It is suitable for students who want to deepen their understanding of philosophy and experience a more personalised form of academic enrichment.

The course runs year-round and is delivered online, making it accessible from anywhere in the world. Participants receive a certificate of achievement and accreditation on completion, and strong students may also earn UCAS points or college credits, a Letter of Recommendation, or the chance to present work at Immerse Education’s online symposium.
