Join Immerse Education's two-week residential programme in Sydney to explore cognitive and developmental psychology, research methods and mental health. Build research skills, connect with academics, and boost your uni application—live on campus, learn like a first-year.
Immerse Education's Psychology Programme in Sydney offers two age-specific residential courses designed to give high-school students a university-style academic experience. The provider runs a junior course for students aged 13-15 and a senior course for students aged 16-18.
Over an intensive two-week programme, participants explore topics such as cognitive psychology, developmental psychology, mental health, research methods and the biological bases of behaviour. Students take part in in-depth academic sessions led by expert tutors, complete a personal research project, and receive 1-on-1 tutoring and personalised feedback.
Classes are deliberately small (7-10 students) to encourage discussion, critical analysis and independent research that can strengthen university applications. Participants earn a Certificate of Achievement on completion, and there is an optional UCAS points add-on (8 points) for eligible students aged 14 and above.
The programme is residential and on-campus at St. Paul’s College, University of Sydney, with secure student accommodation, Wi-Fi and dedicated residential support. The offering includes interactive workshops, experiments, case studies, a social programme and mentorship from university-affiliated tutors to support academic and personal development.
Certificate of achievement; optional 8 UCAS points (opt-in, available to students aged 14+)
