Want to dive into university-level economics in Tokyo? Join a two-week programme with small classes, 1-on-1 tutoring, hands-on data tasks and debates to build research skills, boost your uni application and connect with academics.

Immerse Education's Tokyo Economics Summer School 2026 is a two-week, university-level academic programme for students aged 15-18. The course explores core economic theory and applied topics such as supply and demand, inflation, fiscal policy, international trade, development, and environmental economics.

Teaching combines in-depth academic sessions, data tasks, class debates, and a self-directed personal research project, with 1-on-1 tutoring and small class sizes of around 7-10 students. Participants earn a certificate recognising their achievement and can opt in for UCAS points (8 points) where eligible.

Students stay in high-quality student accommodation near the University of Tokyo for residential options, with daily meals (breakfast and dinner) and a programme of cultural activities, evening events, and local class trips. The course aims to build statistical literacy, written argumentation, critical thinking, and university preparation skills for those considering undergraduate study in economics, finance, or public policy.

Multiple sessions are offered in July 2026, with both residential and non-residential enrolment options.
