Imperial College London Global Summer School is a selective two-week, fully residential STEM programme for students aged 16 17. Held on Imperial's South Kensington campus, the programme offers subject immersion in Data Science & AI, Engineering, Medicine & Life Sciences, or Physics through lectures, tutorials and hands-on laboratory sessions.
The course combines academic teaching with practical lab work and culminates in a team-based Innovation Challenge coached by Imperial's Enterprise Lab. Participants live at Prince's Gardens in en-suite accommodation with meals and a full social programme included.
The Global Summer School is designed for high-achieving STEM-focused high-school students seeking a taste of university-level study and research. The programme includes university-preparation workshops, excursions around London, and a graduation ceremony.
Places are selective and allocated to applicants who meet academic and English-language requirements; there are no scholarships or bursaries and additional personal costs (travel, visas, insurance, laundry) are not covered. Applications open in January 2026 and places are offered on a first-come, first-served basis among qualified applicants.

2026 fee TBC; the 2025 fee was £7,260. The fee (where applicable) covers tuition, accommodation (en-suite at Prince's Gardens), three meals a day, activities, excursions, airport meet-and-greet and graduation. Travel to London, visas, insurance, laundry and personal expenses are not included. The Global Summer School does not offer scholarships or bursaries.
