The Grantham Institute Annual Lecture brings together climate, policy and public-interest speakers for an evening discussion on ambitious climate action. This edition is led by Anne Hidalgo, former Mayor of Paris and Global Ambassador for the Global Covenant of Mayors, and focuses on how leaders can drive change when faced with political polarisation, misinformation and public backlash.
The keynote reflects on Paris as a case study in urban transformation, including cleaner transport, climate resilience, air quality and public space design. The event also includes opening remarks, a fireside chat, a panel discussion with climate and policy experts, and a drinks reception afterwards.
It is open to all and takes place in person at Imperial College London’s South Kensington Campus.
