The Independent Photographer’s 2026 Travel Award is a monthly international photography competition inviting photographers to submit travel images that go beyond the picturesque and tell a story. Winners and finalists receive global exposure through the magazine and social channels, a free online portfolio, and an international exhibition in London.
Monthly cash awards total $2,700, distributed across first, second, third prizes and finalist payments. To enter, create a free account or log in, select a submission package and upload photography-based images (JPEG or PNG, up to 10 MB each).
AI-generated or AI-assisted images are not eligible; entrants must hold full rights to submitted images. Judges (for example Daniel Kordan for this edition) select winners whose work will be exhibited in London and promoted across the platform’s social media.
Full terms and conditions apply and entrants must agree to them at submission.

- Open to all photographers (no age limit).
- Submissions must be photography-based (film, digital, smartphone, tintype, camera-less photography, etc.).
- AI-generated or AI-assisted images are not eligible.
- Entrants must hold full rights to submitted images.

Entry fees: $15 for 1 image, $30 for 3 images, $45 for 6 images. Create a free account (login/register required) and submit online. Payments accepted by major credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and PayPal. Upload JPG or PNG files only, max 10 MB per image. AI images not accepted. Free online portfolio provided to participants.
