This two-week, industry-led summer programme for high school students is delivered on the Imperial College London campus in South Kensington. Participants live on campus (boarding option) or attend as day students and are supervised 24/7 by an on-site residential team.
The programme includes travel insurance and scheduled excursions.
Students learn core areas of law and practical legal skills from practising barristers and guest speakers. Activities include research and drafting workshops, negotiation exercises, advocacy training, a full mock trial followed by an appeal, a Day in Chambers and Court, observation at the Royal Courts of Justice, and a cultural trip to Cambridge.
Outcomes include a certificate of completion, a tutor report and a letter of recommendation. Meals (breakfast and dinner) are included for boarding students; lunch is purchased on campus or via prepaid vouchers. Airport transfers are optional at extra cost.
