Intact Community Centre Volunteer Caretaker / Building Support Volunteer

Intact Community Centre is looking for friendly and reliable volunteers to help keep its building clean, tidy and welcoming for everyone who uses the space. This volunteer role supports staff, other volunteers and visitors by helping to make sure shared areas remain safe, organised and presentable.

Typical tasks include keeping communal areas neat, wiping down tables and surfaces, organising rooms and equipment, carrying out light cleaning tasks, and making sure notice boards and public areas look presentable. Volunteers may also help set up and tidy away for activities and events, and report any maintenance issues to staff.

The role is suited to people with a positive, helpful attitude who can work both independently and as part of a team. Good attention to detail, reliability and trustworthiness are important. No previous experience is needed, as full guidance is provided, and the opportunity also offers ongoing support, training and expenses reimbursement.
