This is a two-week, in-person summer course in International Relations hosted at Georgetown University in Washington, D. C. , designed for motivated high-school students (ages 14-18).
The program covers core theories of global politics and diplomacy, uses case studies of contemporary crises, and offers interactive seminars and multimedia sessions to build students' analytical and communication skills. Students participate in classroom discussions, in-depth case study analysis (including topics like the Ukraine crisis and Middle East conflicts), and field trips linked to course themes.
The program offers both residential (boarding) and day options, with supervised campus life, activities, and structured schedules that blend academics and extracurriculars. Upon completion students receive a Course Completion Certificate, a Letter of Recognition from the Summer Institute, and an official Georgetown transcript.
