This is an immersive summer program for high-school students held on the University of Michigan campus (Ann Arbor) that introduces participants to the American legal system. Students explore foundational legal concepts through lectures and interactive sessions, examine landmark cases, build legal vocabulary, and practise procedural law techniques.
The course emphasises skills such as legal analysis, negotiation, cross-examination and trial simulations to develop critical thinking and persuasive communication. The programme runs as short residential or day options in June and July 2026 with 2- or 3-week sessions.
Students receive a detailed performance report and, where applicable, college credit information for credit-bearing courses. Residential and commuter formats are available; international students are charged an additional non-refundable international registration fee that covers visa support, arrival assistance, medical insurance and some airport transfers.
Upon completion participants receive a Course Completion Certificate and a Letter of Recognition.
