This two-week summer course at Georgetown University provides high school students with a comprehensive introduction to public health, exploring the intersections of medicine, policy, and societal influences on health. Participants study historical and contemporary case studies, examine major population health issues, and learn how public health initiatives can improve outcomes locally and globally.
Students engage in interactive classes, hands-on learning and field trips, and complete a capstone project where they design and present practical public health solutions. The program offers both residential (boarding) and day options, and includes academic tuition, supervised housing (for residential students), meals, activities, and transportation for included events.
International students receive visa support and pre-arrival assistance; a mandatory international registration fee applies. All participants receive detailed performance reports, instructor feedback, and formal documentation of participation including a course completion certificate and the option to request an official Georgetown transcript.

Additional mandatory international registration fee for non-U.S. residents: $379 (residential) or $239 (commuter). Tuition includes academic tuition, housing for residential programs, meals, activities, and campus transportation; application fee, airfare and some extras are not included.
