The Dentist Insight Day is a one-day interactive masterclass designed to give students a realistic taster of life as a dentist. Participants work with top dentists through hands-on activities including a simulated patient consultation, X-ray examination and a practical tooth-carving session.
The programme also features panel Q&A sessions with practising dentists.
The programme includes tailored dental school admissions coaching: guidance on UCAS personal statements, preparation for the UCAT and interview techniques (MMI and panel formats), plus mock interview demonstrations. An online assessment following the programme leads to a personalised certificate to support applications.
The course is available either in-person at University College London (UCL) in Bloomsbury or as a live online delivery (the Live Online option is offered in November). Places are secured by registering on the InvestIN website and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
