InvestIN Education Investment Banker Summer Experience

InvestIN’s Investment Banker Summer Experience is an immersive summer programme for students interested in finance and investment banking. Participants take part in live market simulations, a mock assessment centre, mergers and acquisitions challenges, portfolio-building exercises and presentations to professionals, giving them a hands-on sense of how investment banking works in practice.

The programme can be taken as a one-week taster, a full two-week experience, or an enhanced two-week package with additional professional development. Students also receive career coaching, networking opportunities with senior bankers, and guidance on university applications, subject choices, interview technique and extracurriculars.

Those who complete the assessed work-experience element can earn a Level 3 Award in Work Experience & Career Planning, along with a digital certificate and an industry reference letter. The experience is delivered in person in London, based at UCL and the surrounding University of London campus, with some activities taking place at other industry venues.

Residential and non-residential options are available, and the residential package includes university-halls accommodation, meals and pastoral support.
