InvestIN Education: The Investment Banker Insight Day

The Investment Banker Insight Day is a weekend-style finance masterclass that gives students a hands-on introduction to investment banking. Participants take part in interactive simulations and exercises that mirror real banking tasks, including trading currencies and commodities, valuing companies, and negotiating a live merger and acquisition deal.

Alongside the practical activities, students hear from experienced investment bankers about how they entered the industry and what the role involves day to day. The programme also includes Q&A sessions and career coaching focused on applications, CVs, interview technique, university choices, and how to build a strong super-curricular profile.

The experience is designed for students who want to explore a career in finance and gain insight into the skills needed to succeed. It is available either in person in London or live online, depending on the session chosen, and participants can complete an online assessment afterwards to receive a personalised certificate.
