The International Politics Summer Experience is an immersive programme for students interested in politics and international affairs. Participants step into the shoes of a politician through hands-on simulations, site visits, and expert-led sessions that build practical understanding of how politics works in the real world.
Across the programme, students take part in activities such as model UN experiences, election campaign planning, media and broadcasting exercises, lobbying and human rights challenges, and a simulated House of Commons debate. They also meet and learn from political professionals connected to institutions such as the House of Commons, the UN, the Foreign Office, and NGOs, while gaining advice on careers, university choices, and future subject pathways.
Students can choose from different programme lengths and accommodation options. Residential participants stay in central London university halls with meals, safeguarding, and evening and weekend activities included.
Students who complete the assessment can also receive a Level 3 Award in Work Experience & Career Planning, a digital certificate, and an industry reference letter.

- Minimum English language requirement of B2 (upper-intermediate, CEFR) for international/EFL students.
£2,290
Programme fees start at £2,290 for 1 week, £3,685 for 2 weeks, and £4,620 for the 2-week Enhanced option. Residential package totals are £3,865, £6,995, and £7,930 respectively.
