This free in-person masterclass is designed for Year 12 students studying A Level Physics, or an equivalent qualification, who want to strengthen their understanding of mechanics and improve their exam performance. The session uses an intense, problem-solving approach that focuses on core physics concepts and mathematical reasoning, with opportunities to work through questions, think independently, and compare ideas with other students.
Attendees will take part in a mix of tutorial-style teaching, guided problem solving, and a short admissions presentation and Q&A about Cambridge Natural Sciences. The event is most suitable for students who are willing to work hard and engage fully with the activities, including those who also study A Level Maths or equivalent.
Students are expected to prepare a small amount of work in advance and to bring a smart device, calculator, pen, and paper for the session.
