The ISSFT Study Skills Summer Course in Oxford is a two-week residential programme designed for students aged 13-18 who are preparing for IB, GCSE or SAT examinations. The academic programme focuses on developing time management, workload planning, essay writing, research techniques, presentation skills and exam preparation, with specific insight into IB components such as the Extended Essay, CAS and Theory of Knowledge.
The course combines morning academic tuition with afternoon electives in a dual-study model, taught in small, expert-led classes. Students receive personalised academic feedback and a final academic report.
The residential experience includes supervised en-suite accommodation, 24-hour pastoral care, three meals per day, a full programme of sports and social activities, and organised excursions across the UK. Practical support includes airport transfers to/from selected airports, full medical and travel insurance, secure online portals for students and parents, and on-site pastoral teams.
On successful completion students receive a course completion certificate and a personalised academic report.
