An IVECO Vehicle Parts Advisor apprenticeship based at the Theale (Reading) dealership. The role trains apprentices to source, identify and supply parts for light vehicles, including handling, storing and receiving stock, processing payments and orders, and using computerised stock management systems (ECAT).
Day-to-day duties include supporting customers and workshop staff both face-to-face and by phone, resolving enquiries, and contributing to sales and customer service improvements.
The apprenticeship includes off-the-job training delivered by SKILLNET LIMITED and leads to a Customer Service Specialist Level 3 qualification. Training covers advanced customer service techniques, service improvement, handling complex customer issues, and industry-specific VRQ content.
Apprentices will be supported by regular visits from a training advisor and will attend a bespoke college academy as part of their programme.
This is a full-time position (40 hours per week, Monday-Friday 09:00-17:00, occasional Saturdays TBC). The role is based in-person at 8 Arrowhead Road, Theale, Reading, RG7 4AD. The advertised starting wage is £15,704 for the first year, with potential increases depending on age and National Minimum Wage rates for apprentices.
