The JCB Level 6 Engineering Degree Apprenticeship is a work-based degree programme combining on-the-job placements with blocks of university study. Apprentices rotate around the business on six-month placements across areas such as Design, Development, Electrical and Research, with the opportunity for a three-month commercial placement outside the business.

The programme emphasises hands-on technical skills including fabrication and Computer Aided Design (CAD).

You will complete both workplace and off-the-job training, gaining practical engineering experience and academic study that leads to a Bachelor’s Engineering Degree. Successful apprentices are supported by experienced engineering professionals and can expect progressive responsibilities throughout the programme, finishing with a degree and employment prospects within a global engineering business.

  • Minimum of 112 UCAS tariff points required.
  • GCSE grades in Maths, English and an additional STEM subject at grade C/4 or above.
