Apply to a university-led enrichment programme for Year 12 students at non-selective schools in specified regions. There’s also an eligibility route for former Inspire Critical Thinking participants now at non-selective state schools, and you can email the team if you’re unsure you qualify.
The St John's Inspire Year 12 Programme is an access and outreach opportunity run by St John's College, Oxford. This application form is for the 2026-27 cohort and is aimed at students in Year 12 who want to take part in the programme.
The page makes clear that the scheme is open to applicants from non-selective schools in a defined group of regions. It also provides an additional route for students who took part in Inspire Critical Thinking in Year 11 and are now attending a non-selective state school in the UK for Year 12.
If you are unsure whether you meet the criteria, the programme team invites you to get in touch by email.
As this is an application form, the main purpose of the page is to help eligible students apply before the deadline. It sits within Oxford's wider access and outreach work and offers a route into a university-led enrichment programme for sixth form students.
