The University of Sheffield’s Journalism subject talk is part of its undergraduate open day programme and gives prospective students a chance to hear more about the course and what studying Journalism at Sheffield involves. It is designed for applicants exploring their options before applying to university, and sits alongside other subject talks and exhibitions taking place on the day.
The Journalism session is scheduled in The Wave, Lecture Theatre 3, and runs from 11. 15am to 12pm. The page also explains that optional student-led tours of the Journalism facilities run throughout the day from 10am on a first-come, first-served basis.
These tours last about 20 minutes and you sign up at the Journalism subject exhibition stand.
Subject talks are described as one of the fixed parts of the open day and are chosen when making your open day booking. You can book a place for yourself and up to one additional guest, and booked visitors are seated first before any remaining places are offered to others.
