The Journalism subject talk is part of The University of Sheffield’s undergraduate open day. It gives prospective students the chance to learn more about the course and what studying Journalism at Sheffield involves, alongside the wider open day experience.
The talk takes place in The Wave, Lecture Theatre 3, and is scheduled for a fixed slot as part of your open day booking. Visitors can also make use of the wider open day programme, including subject exhibitions and campus activities.
Optional student-led tours of the Journalism facilities run throughout the day from 10am on a first-come, first-served basis. These tours last around 20 minutes and must be signed up for at the Journalism subject exhibition stand.

- Prospective undergraduate visitors can book places for themselves and up to one additional guest.
- Booked visitors are seated first; any remaining seats may then be offered to unbooked visitors.
